This week's guests are Labour Society Vice-Chair Ben Dilks and York Vision's Adam Coe. We talk Libya, Thursday's by-election landlide for Labour, trouble at the NUS and Rupert Murdoch, plus: is Berlusconi really finished this time?

Drama: The Prince of Humberside - Coming Soon

Coming soon to URY, a new student written drama.

'The Prince of Humberside' by Tess Humphrey

The play deals with the serious issues of deppression in young people and is played out through a single dialogue between an aristocratic teenager and a worker on the NHS Suicide hotline who deals him some rather unconventional advice.

This gripping, moving and sometimes amusing black comedy will be on URY soon after Easter. Watch here for more details.

But you can hear the preview now on the ((URY PLAYER)) now!

Documentary: Life without Facebook

Since its establishment in February 2004 facebook has become an incredibly important part of our lives and most of us use the site on a daily basis.

But how dependent are we on Mark Zuckerburg's online creation?

URY's national award winning presenter Coco Cole spends a week without facebook for this fantastic orginal URY documentary told through audio logs over what may be a difficult 168 hours...

Will she make it without logging in?

Find out now on the ((URY PLAYER)) here.

Presented by Coco Cole and produced for URY by Nick Duquemin

Drama: The Matchstick Man

On the ((URY Player)) now URY's landmark orginal drama 'The Matchstick Man'.

Tom Crowley's superb play deals with the ethics of Artificial Inteligence through the eyes of a psycologist Dr Talbot who is sent to investigate 'Frank' a prototype of Herman Electronics range of 'Match'. But nothing concerned with Talbot's encounter with Frank will be straight foward...

This full cast dramastisation was completed in 2010 but is presented here as a standalone radio play for the first time.

Drama: URY's 'A Christmas Carol'

Although Christmas is over there is never a bad time to remind yourself of this classic tale.

URY's freshers production of Dicken's timeless tale was made late last year and is well worth a listen.

With a full cast the script was adapted from Dicken's own abriged texts for his public readings. Complete with soundscapes, music and some excellent performances this play is well worth a listen!

You can hear the production on the ((URY PLAYER)) here.
